To quote her online biography:
Comedy Routine
“Liz Stewart is an American stand-up comedian, actress, and writer. Liz began her career in Houston, where she studied playwriting under the direction of Pulitzer Prize winning author, Edward Albee. In addition to performing at the Moore’s Opera Center and the Houston Shakespeare Festival, Liz started doing improv at the There Goes the Neighborhood Theater. A graduate of Chicago’s prestigious Second City, she also studied at the Steppenwolf Theatre, garnering critical acclaim by the Chicago Tribune as a “must see”, and began her love affair with stand-up comedy. Seeking to thaw out from the Windy City’s brutal winters, Liz moved to Los Angeles.
“Since her arrival, she has appeared on the SyFy Channel, TV Guide Network, Reelz Channel, Nuvo TV, and Sirius XM radio. Her sketch comedy group, Frog Island has over 11 million channel views on YouTube and has been featured on Comedy Central’s Atom TV. She has won several comedy festivals including the Independent Television Festival and NBC’s IYS. Liz is among the elite improvisers in the world, having the distinguished honor of being a Groundlings Sunday Company member.”
