
A New York math teacher early in his career, Martin Kove is best known to his fans as John Kreese, the head instructor of the Cobra Kai karate school, from the hugely successful movie The Karate Kid, including its two sequels. Kove is also well known from the television series Cagney & Lacey where he played the honest police detective Isbecki. An actor known for his strong facial features, Kove has played both good guys and bad guys.
