Our next guest on Ken Boxer Live is longtime assistant coach and head scout for the Los Angeles Lakers, Mr. Bill Bertka. Bill, still active with the Los Angeles Lakers, is recognized by many of his peers and admirers as one of the most talented coaches in the NBA.

Throughout his coaching years he has earned the respect and admiration of those with whom he has worked: the NBA, the Laker franchise, the Laker team itself, and, of course, his many Laker fans.

Ken Boxer has known Bill personally for almost 50 years. Ken says, “You are not going to find a nicer guy. Bill Bertka is one of my heroes, and I am honored to have him joining us.”

Milt Larsen (born April 9, 1931 in Pasadena, California) is a writer, actor, performer, lyricist, magician, entrepreneur, speaker and the creator of The Magic Castle, a private club for magicians and enthusiasts.

In 2006, Milt Larson was named in a Variety story that included him in a list of the top ten magicians of all time.

On September 15, 2006, Milt was honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard, in Hollywood, California.

Milt is one of the hardest working entertainers in the business. Eighty-two years young, he is still extremely active running the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Milt visits Ken next week on Ken Boxer Live. The show airs Thursday nights at 10pm on TVSB Channel 17 and on http://www.kenboxerlive.com.

Next week’s guest is former CNN Headline News anchor Bella Shaw, a truly quintessential journalist. Her time at CNN includes many of the cataclysmic events in recent memory, such as the Challenger explosion, the Chinese rebellion culminating in the Tienanmen Square massacre, and the break-up of the Soviet empire and its satellites. Having a front-row seat to these unfolding event, Ms. Shaw, no doubt, has much to tell us about those exciting, tumultuous times.
