Our next guest on Ken Boxer Live is considered one of the greatest ice skaters of all time. We are delighted and fortunate to have the very lovely and talented Tai Babilonia joining us. Tai, along with her life-long skating partner Randy Gardner, achieved many sports awards during their competitive period. You may read her biography here.

Tai’s competitive  highlights include:

  • Youngest pair team to represent the U.S. at the World Championships
  • Five consecutive U.S. Senior Pairs titles
  • 1979 World Figure Skating Champions – first Americans to do so in 29 years, upsetting a fourteen year Soviet domination, which has never been repeated to this day
  • Two-time Olympians, heavily favored in 1980 to win the Gold but had to withdraw due to an injury sustained by her partner Randy Gardner

We have another terrific guest for Ken Boxer Live. Joining us is former World Champion Surfer Shaun Tomson, considered one of the architects of professional surfing. Back in 1975 Shaun was the world surfing champion. More recently he has written a book, The Code, which he  will discuss with us.  Additionally, he is in a soon-to-be-released  documentary, A Life Outside, to be showcased during the upcoming 2014 Santa Barbara Film Festival. Shaun will highlight with us his part in this documentary along with, of course, his magnificent surfing videos.

Shaun Tomson is listed as one of the 25 most influential surfers of the century and as one of the 10 greatest surfers of all time. During his career he has been both the youngest and oldest surfer to win a pro event.

Milt Larsen (born April 9, 1931 in Pasadena, California) is a writer, actor, performer, lyricist, magician, entrepreneur, speaker and the creator of The Magic Castle, a private club for magicians and enthusiasts.

In 2006, Milt Larson was named in a Variety story that included him in a list of the top ten magicians of all time.

On September 15, 2006, Milt was honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard, in Hollywood, California.

Milt is one of the hardest working entertainers in the business. Eighty-two years young, he is still extremely active running the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Milt visits Ken next week on Ken Boxer Live. The show airs Thursday nights at 10pm on TVSB Channel 17 and on http://www.kenboxerlive.com.

Having a front-row seat to these unfolding event, Ms. Shaw, no doubt, has much to tell us about those exciting, tumultuous times.
